In this mini series we’ll explore some of Jesus’ challenging parables and the application for work and life. The Kingdom is an inspiring vision of what it means to be part of Jesus’s plan to bring blessing, peace and life to his world.

Interview With Simon Macaulay, Chairman of Anglo Recycling Technology Ltd
As the chairman and owner of the Anglo Family Group Simon is responsible for overseeing the vision and mission of this family run, felt manufacturer. In 2010 Anglo installed a recycling plant which over the last 12 months has diverted 600 tonnes of carpet from going to landfill.  Established in 1939 the Anglo philosophy is: ‘Our business exists for more than profit’.  Not only do The Anglo Group employ a company chaplain to provide pastoral support to staff but also in partnership with a local church, The Anglo Group have established Friends of Whitworth Youth. This initiatives provides a weekly youth club working alongside Lancashire County Council and the local High School.

Talk By Rev. Roger Sutton, Leader of the Gather Movement
Roger leads the Gather movement and is organising the first Movement Day UK  in October 2017.  He also co-chairs the Trafford Local Strategic Partnership and chairs the Stronger Communities Board for Trafford Council in Manchester. He also has an itinerant speaking ministry. Roger previously led Altrincham Baptist church in Manchester for 22 years and was the chair of RUN: Reaching the Unchurched Network. He is married to Lesley and they have four grown-up children and eight grandchildren
