The Lydia Group

The Lydia Group – Manchester Chapter is a relational space for women who are based in the marketplace to gather and connect more meaningfully.

At its heart is the value of relationship before function, built upon the foundation and power of prayer. The group seeks to foster a space where deep friendships can be formed as well as equip and encourage women to be disciples of Jesus in the marketplace.  This is for women who have a passion to be sharers and bearers of the Kingdom of God and who want to foster Christlikeness in their lives and their walk.

The group will meet monthly on the first Monday of each month and will consist of time to share, biblical reflection, discussion and prayer. Every few months, there will be some social elements. The group will be intentionally limited in membership to 12 women which will nuture relational intimacy and connection so that we know that we are supported in the marketplace.

Sarah Haynes is leading this initiative and will start the first meet up with a shared dinner. The evening will consist of a 3 course meal, the heart and vision of the Lydia group will be shared as well as time to get your input and ask questions.
